How Our Technology Works

With Ultramet CPT’s technology we can protect equipment and eliminate strong acid corrosion with a tantalum surface that is diffused into the base material. By utilizing the Ultramet CPT technology, typically standard steel ball valves are transformed into the most acid resistant ball valves available. The end result is an acid resistant ball valve that has a corrosion resistance far exceeding that of Hastelloy C276 but having a similar price.
