DC's low-voltage invasion ?

hello,


Any re-use of AC wiring for DC would have to allow for the replacement of any existing microbreak switches, which are not able to switch DC at other than low voltages. DC-capable switches are significantly larger, and would possibly not fit existing back boxes. This would significantly affect the economics of any such re-use.
