Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have announced an additional Technical Test for The Division 2 in order to test some fixes they implemented, but it will be available only for some PC users from Thursday to Friday - 21 to 22 February 2019. The Division 2's Technical Test will be performed on a smaller scale as not all PC fans who pre-ordered the game will have access. The purpose of this test will be to check how the game performs after the implementation of fixes that are a direct result of player feedback from the private beta.
“Our goal with this Technical Test is to assess a certain amount of fixes we implemented based on your feedback following the Private Beta,” Ubisoft said on Reddit. “This will help ensure that your Open Beta experience will be as smooth as possible.” The Technical Test will only be open to select players; those curious to see if they’ve been chosen can head to their email inbox to look for an invite. Pre-orders are not guaranteed access, Ubisoft stressed, adding that invites were “distributed at random to ensure a wide range of participants.”
It won't be open to everyone, but players who have been selected will be receiving email invites today. Ubisoft has stressed that pre-order customers are not guaranteed to get in, as the invites are being "distributed at random to ensure a wide range of participants." By the way, you can buy

There’s no way to directly sign up for this test, but Ubisoft will email you today if you’ve been selected. There’s nothing you can do to guarantee access, either, as invites will be random. As far as content, you’ll have access to the main story and side missions seen in the private beta. Conflict, the game’s organised PvP mode, and the endgame mission won’t be part of this test.
Players in the technical test will have access to the same content that was in the private beta. This includes the main story and side missions that you were able to play. There is one exception to the technical test. It won’t have the Division 2 PvP modes or any Endgame content that was available in the private beta. The Division 2 PC only Technical test won’t have any NDA either. Meaning people are allowed to share info that they attain on it. Ubisoft also has a dedicated forum for the technical test participants to share their thoughts and bounce topics off each other.
Ubisoft is doing this technical test to “assess a certain amount of fixes we implemented based on your feedback following the Private Beta.” As for the content available in the technical test, it’ll be all the content available in the private beta, except for Conflict, Endgame and the Photo Mode. Those not able to participate, sit tight as the open beta is just a few days away from starting on March 1 for all platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC).
