Data East JP CPU board acid damage.?

I have a 1993 JP that works well but I noticed all this battery acid damage when I went to install new batteries in the CPU board. There were no batteries installed when I bought the game. The replacement of this board is more than I wanted and I can do all the blue wire jumper wires to fix the issues of the torn up traces and replace the chips. Is how I stop this acid damage from spreading? At this point it looks like it is spreading like cancer on this CPU board. So I figure I need to repair all of it before it really kills this board.
